Winter Cherry Blossom Village Sakurayama Park

The contrast between the autumn leaves that dye Sakurayama in late autumn and the white flowers of the winter cherry blossoms is spectacular. Various flowers bloom according to the season, and you can enjoy them while hiking in the park. The symbol of Sakurayama Park is the winter cherry blossoms, which are a nationally designated place of scenic beauty and a natural monument. The best time to see them is from early November to early December, and the park is lit up at night during that time.

Famous hot spring Yashio Onsen

Yashio Onsen was once known as the "eight salt spouts." The hot springs, which gush out from rock salt layers formed by the trapping of ancient seawater, have a high salt concentration and are said to warm you up gently, and to be effective against cuts, burns, gastrointestinal disorders, chronic skin disorders, neuralgia, and chronic gynecological disorders. The baths at the inn use Sanbagawa stones, which have been designated as a precious natural monument. Day trips are also available.
